Canon’s HR10 gets the once-over from CNET and receives a 7.2 out of 10. Their Canon HR10 review revolves around the whole DVD/AVCHD conundrum. Everything else, the video quality, performance, and even most of the handling aspects, get a positive rating, while the “DVD curse” makes the HR10 a hard camcorder for CNET to recommend. Overall, they recommend sticking with HDV tape models or hard-drive camcorders for a better shooting experience.
