CamcorderInfo has their “First Impressions” review of the new Sony HDR-SR1 now available. The SR1 features a 30GB hard drive and records HD footage using the new AVCHD compression standard. The reviewer was probably most excited about the large 3.5″ LCD, the multi-function ring, and the microphone input. Keep in mind that this review deals with the aesthetics and “theorized” video quality.
