Final Cut Pro has been updated to version 5.1.2. Now you can use real-time Motion 2 plug-ins from within Final Cut Pro. Also, the new version includes expanded support for Sony’s XDCAM format, 24P and 25P HDV, and improved P2 import support.
This new version is not yet available, and was just announced at the IBC. Keep a lookout, though, and expect it any day now.
