If you are feeling a little overwhelmed and are looking for a nice overview of all the different HDV camcorders that are available on the market, I would suggest heading over to DMN for their article entitled, “Choosing an HDV Camera.” It is a good, if simple, look at the history of HDV and its current offerings. I would have preferred something a little more in-depth, but for those new to the arena it is a good place to start.
