The Canon Elura 100 has been called the camcorder of the year by some, and although Videomaker’s Canon Elura 100 review did not deem to say as much, they were still quite impressed by what this little camcorder has to offer. As usual, the reviewer was thrown off a bit by the internal battery design (i.e. extra-capacity batteries are not possible), but overall he liked the rest of the body and controls. Image quality was “right on par” although some detail was lost in shadow areas at times. Videomaker suggests taking a look at the Canon Elura 100 if you are a beginner looking for small, inexpensive, and easy to use.
