In yet another of what is sure to be a long line of reviews of Canon’s latest HDV digital camcorder, CNET’s Canon HV20 review takes a look at what they deem may be, “among the top-selling nonbudget camcorders this year.” The review paints a pretty good picture of the HV20 and its features. Video quality is impressive, with low noise levels and good sharpness and color accuracy. Low-light performance is not the best, but right now you really can’t do too much better without breaking the bank. Overall, CNET gives the Canon HV20 a 7.7 out of 10 score.
