Samsung has announced a new camcorder that will record footage directly to SD card. The Samsung SC-MX10 will capture video in DivX (unconfirmed) format and store it on a removable SD card. There is no word on whether the card slot will be SDHC compatible (UPDATE: it is), but I’m guessing it will be since it is slated for release in September August. Other than that, the SC-MX10 features a 680K CCD, 2.7″ widescreen LCD, and 34x optical zoom. The expected price will be around $320. MSRP is $299.
